Brandon L. Veenstra, HBA, J.D.
A dedicated family law and litigation counsel with a proven track record of success. Before founding VK Law Corporation with Amanda Krishan in 2018, Brandon practiced at a Cranbrook firm after completing his articles in Fort St. John.
Brandon's approach combines rigorous legal advocacy with practical problem-solving. He excels at navigating complex family matters both inside and outside the courtroom, developing strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
When not advocating for clients, Brandon embraces the Kootenay lifestyle through snowboarding, golfing, and camping throughout the region. He's also passionate about cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.

Amanda J. Krishan, BA, J.D.
A compassionate legal advisor specializing in immigration law and estate planning, serving the Kootenay community since 2017. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Amanda brings prairie values and a dedicated approach to her legal practice. She focuses primarily on guiding clients through the complexities of immigration processes and helping families secure their futures through comprehensive estate planning.
Amanda earned both her undergraduate degree (with distinction) and her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan before being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2017. After practicing at a Cranbrook firm, she co-founded VK Law Corporation with Brandon Veenstra to provide accessible, practical legal services to the East and West Kootenays.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and client-centered approach, Amanda helps individuals and families navigate life's important transitions—whether establishing new roots in Canada or planning for future generations.
Outside the office, Amanda cherishes time with her two children and enjoys exploring new destinations through travel. She embraces the Kootenay lifestyle through camping, kayaking, skiing, and taking long walks with her dogs in the region's beautiful natural surroundings.

Taylor D. Nesdoly, HBA, MA, J.D.
Born and raised in British Columbia, Taylor returned to her home province after completing her legal education at the prestigious Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. Her educational journey across Canada has given her a broad perspective that enriches her legal practice today.
Taylor specializes in family law, where she combines legal expertise with genuine compassion to guide clients through challenging transitions. Working alongside Brandon and Amanda at VK Law Corporation, she shares the firm's commitment to providing practical, sensible legal services tailored to the unique needs of Kootenay residents.
Known for her attentive listening and thoughtful approach, Taylor helps families navigate complex legal matters with clarity and confidence. She brings fresh insights and dedicated advocacy to every case she handles.
Outside the courtroom, Taylor expresses her creativity through painting and finds peace in gardening. She's passionate about exploring both the natural beauty of the Kootenays and destinations beyond, drawing inspiration from her surroundings and bringing that perspective to her legal practice.
